WordPress Seminar, August 28th, 2010. A Successful Event!!

We would like to thank the over 50 attendees that made our August 28th Introduction to WordPress Seminar a huge success.

We also want to say thank you to all of our sponsors who came out and supported us at the event.

Here are the pictures of the event, enjoy and we hope to see you at our next event!

What our attendees were saying about the seminar…

This was a great event. Sean provided solid info, content and value. For anyone not knowing “where” to start with WordPress, this is just what they need. You could walk out with your blog/website started. For those that were already engaged, they could sharpen up needed skills and learn more. Would heartily recommend this for anyone wanting to “get” WordPress and would readily attend future events. From Meetup.com

Staff was welcoming. Seminar very informative; loads of content to compress into 3 hours but quality was great. Location easy to find, check-in was easy. Even though the seminar went longer than scheduled, I think the pace of instruction was perfect for me. I’m very fired up to become an expert with WordPress! From Meetup.com

Woooow! The POSSIBILITIES! Just THIIINK of them!

Just think of how a businesses sales cycle can be almost reduced to simply a moment from the marketing & education capabilities of WordPress! Imagine an entire fabric store-the Sewing Machine Department Salesperson doing weekly updates on the newest latest & greatest sewing machine to come thru the door, the Sewing Class Instructor reviewing the previous nights class-questions students had, successes, challenges, tips & guides. Imagine the Receiving Dept. clerk posting a “We’ve got too many of these items so they’re on sale!” weekly column! The Customer Service Rep can have an online diary w/fotos of customers she’s helped & the issues (“Betty came in with an obscure Bernina bobbin & we had a heck of a time finding one, but we got it! Another success story!” [foto of Betty & the Rep.]. Imagine the customer success stories!

It’s all about the marketing. Or…it’s all about marketing better than the your competition! You talk about building credibility & rapport, WP in the right hands clearly has the ability to…you know, to roll out the red carpet for one’s customers.

Okay, now whaaat am I gonna do w/it? Hmmm. Hmmm!
    : )
